Background
The NTU Intervarsity Tournament organized by the NTU CAC Traditional
TaeKwon-Do Club is a biennial event of the club.
It has been held since the foundation of the club has been established in 1985. Over the years, the size of the tournament has been growing, and invitations have already extended beyond the island. In the previous tournament, TaeKwon-Do teams from universities and institutes in
Malaysia were invited to the tournament. This year, the committee will extend our invitation to even more universities and institutes. We will be inviting professional judges licensed under the Singapore TaeKwon-Do Academy (STA) to be the judges of our event.

Event Description
Date of Event: 18 and 19, February 2006
Venue: Sports & Recreation Centre indoor sports hall 3, NTU
This event has been hosted by NTU CAC TaeKwon-Do club since the club
has been established in the year 1985.
This year, the 10th intervarsity tournament will be a two-day-scale event. The tournament is divided into 5 competition items - team and individual pattern, couple pattern and individual sparring as well as destruction. Patterns are attack and defence movements set to a particular sequence. It is especially useful in building up skill, grace, stamina, timing and balance. Sparring is a disciplined form of fighting. Destruction involves breaking wooden planks with both hand and leg techniques; it is a test of skill, power and timing.

Open category to all color belt and black belt
Group by 1 male and 1 female
